Made with Love
Wilks Candle Creations was formed by us, Lindsey Edgell-Wilkinson & Craig Wilkinson, a newly married couple in late 2021. Although newly married, we already had a family with our two beautiful children Holly & Phoebe and Lottie the Dog!

We had our youngest child, Phoebe, at the start of the pandemic. So at the end of Lindsey's maternity leave, we made the difficult choice for her to leave work, to stay home with both our children.
Our beautiful Holly has ASD and Sensory Processing Disorder, now our little Phoebe is going through assessment too, so our plan for Lindsey to go back to work when Phoebe is school age had to be scrapped. The high needs of both our children would make it extremely difficult to find an employer that can be as flexible as we needed.
So Lindsey began to look at what she could do from home to create an income to support the family alongside Craig, while still being able to meet our children's needs and be able to attend every appointment they had, of which there are a lot!

Craig had bought Lindsey a candle making kit a few Christmas's past and she had really enjoyed making her candles and kept it as a hobby. This tied in with how creative Lindsey is too, it makes her happy, she loves creating. So we agreed that we would see if Lindsey could take her little hobby and creative mind and turn it into a business.
So Wilks Candle Creations was born!
